"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it"- George Santayana
Dear Families and Nannies, No Matter where you stand politically, please do not underestimate the importance of teaching your children about Black History. When we finally understand our authentic history, then we can authentically understand our present. Black History Month is about understanding our 400-year history of racial inequity in America so that we can more fully honor our past, present, and future diversity. Please spend some time with your children this month teaching them about Black History Month!
