Apply with Patty Cake Nannies by completing the online application above. Each applicant we represent must meet or surpass the minimum qualifications listed below:

  • Two years minimum of professional job related experience (childcare experience if you are applying to be a nanny)

  • Excellent verifiable employer references 

  • Valid Driver's License and Insured vehicle for use on the job

  • Ability to give a 1 year minimum commitment (for permanent placements only)

  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or willing to get certified)

  • U.S. work authorization

  • No Criminal Record

  • High School Diploma or higher

We have found that many of our families value additional qualifications such as formal education in child development, teaching experience, musical talent, the ability to speak more than one language and nutritional knowledge.

Before you start:

Please have the following items available before you start the application. If you have any difficulty filling out the application contact the agency at Christal@PattyCakeNannies.com or 505-570-5728 and we will assist you in fixing the problem. 

  • Current Job Related Resume. List all applicable experience; if you are applying to be a nanny please list all childcare related experience.

  • A recent photo of yourself to upload

  • Auto Insurance Information

  • Employment History

  • Contact information for your references, phone numbers and email addresses.

  • CPR/First Aid Expiration Dates (if applicable)

  • Education History

All applicants must give Patty Cake Nannies consent for a National Background Check for:

  • Criminal Background Check (county, state and national)

  • Social Security Number Verification

  • Sex Offender

  • Violent Offenders

  • DMV Records

  • Fingerprints

​

Depending on the placement, some families may request additional screening such as:

  • Drug testing

  • Credit Check

  • Other Health Related Tests (vaccinations, blood/urine tests, TB tests, etc.)
